1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Kimii, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Kimii Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Kimii.

These Terms form an agreement between you and the operator of Kimii (operator information will be confirmed before public launch).

2. Eligibility

You may use Kimii only if you can form a binding contract with the Kimii operator and are not prohibited from receiving the service under applicable law.

You may not use Kimii if your account has previously been terminated for a serious or repeated violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

3. 18+ Requirement

Kimii is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. Before entering the sign-up or login flow, Kimii presents an age agreement that you must accept on every entry. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.

Accounts believed to belong to people under 18 may be removed.

4. Account Registration

You register with an email address and a password. You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you promptly tell us that it may have been compromised.

Do not create an account for another person without authorization, impersonate someone else, or sell, transfer, or share access to your account.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your conduct and for the content you submit. Use Kimii respectfully, follow applicable laws, respect other people’s rights, and consider what personal information you choose to share.

Social interactions can involve people you do not know. Use good judgment and report or block users when appropriate.

6. User Content

“User Content” includes profile information, profile photos, uploaded images, looks, challenge submissions, comments, and other material you choose to provide through Kimii.

You retain any rights you have in your User Content. You grant Kimii a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, and transmit User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, secure, and provide the service and the features you choose to use. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable technical, legal, safety, and backup retention.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that it does not violate law, privacy, intellectual property, or the rights of others.

7. Style Challenges

Kimii may offer themed Style Challenges. Challenge prompts, availability, and participation rules may vary. Submissions must follow these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and any instructions shown for the challenge.

Participation does not guarantee visibility, recognition, rewards, or continued availability of a submission. Kimii may remove or limit content that violates these Terms, creates safety concerns, or disrupts a challenge.

8. Follow, Mutual, and Social Features

Kimii lets users follow others, like and comment on looks, and form mutual connections. A mutual connection exists when two users follow each other and unlocks messaging in the current experience.

A follow, mutual connection, or interaction does not imply verification, endorsement, or any particular personal relationship. You control whether to follow, unfollow, report, or block another account.

9. Chat

Chat is available for mutual connections. In the current version, messages you send are stored locally on your device; there is no server-side message delivery, and messages are not automatically shared with AI features.

Because chat data is local, it may be affected by device storage, app removal, device changes, or local data clearing. Do not rely on chat as a permanent record.

10. Video Call UX and Communication Features

Kimii may display communication entry points such as a video call screen. In the current version, the video call experience is an interface demonstration only: it does not capture, transmit, or receive camera or microphone audio or video, and calls may end without connecting.

Communication features may change over time. Availability is not guaranteed, and these features must be used in line with the Community Guidelines.

11. AI Features

Kimii may provide AI-powered style ideas, prompts, or creative experiences. You choose the information and photos you submit to an AI feature. Private chats are not automatically shared with AI. Information you actively submit is sent to the service and processed by AI providers to provide the requested feature.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or unsuitable for your circumstances. AI output is provided for creative and entertainment purposes and should not be relied on as medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice.

Do not submit sensitive personal information or content you do not have the right to use.

12. Coins

Kimii may offer virtual Coins for use with eligible in-app features. Coins are virtual items. Coins have no cash value. Coins cannot be transferred between users. Coins cannot be redeemed for cash or property outside Kimii. Coins are not an investment and are not currency.

Kimii may adjust the availability or Coin cost of features prospectively. We will not intentionally reduce a confirmed Coin balance without a transaction, correction, enforcement action, or other legitimate service reason.

13. Consumable In-App Purchases

Consumable Coin purchases may be processed through Apple In-App Purchase and are subject to Apple’s payment, billing, and refund rules. Apple processes your payment credentials; Kimii does not receive your complete payment card number.

Consumable purchases are spent when used and, unlike subscriptions or non-consumable purchases, are generally not restorable after they are spent. If a completed purchase does not appear, use the steps in the Support Center.

14. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Kimii to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, or abuse another person;
• post sexual exploitation content, non-consensual intimate content, or content involving minors;
• promote hatred, violence, discrimination, self-harm, or illegal activity;
• impersonate others, mislead users, commit fraud, or manipulate purchases or virtual items;
• infringe privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
• upload malware, scrape the service, bypass access controls, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or interfere with normal operation;
• use automated systems to create accounts, spam, artificially inflate engagement, or access Kimii without permission; or
• submit unlawful or unauthorized content to AI features.

15. Reporting

You can report accounts, looks, comments, or challenge submissions that concern you through the in-app report option. Reports are submitted to the service with your account identity and the content you identify, and are reviewed under the Community Guidelines.

Reporting does not guarantee a specific outcome and does not automatically block anyone. Do not misuse reporting tools to harass others or submit knowingly false reports.

16. Blocking

You can block another account from their profile or the safety menu. Blocking takes effect immediately and is designed to stop further interaction between the two accounts, including visibility of each other’s content.

You can review and remove blocks at any time in Settings → Privacy & Safety → Blocked Users. Reporting someone does not automatically block them — the choice is yours.

17. Account Suspension

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, or limit features when we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, a safety or security risk, fraud, legal exposure, or a need to protect Kimii or its users. When appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to respond.

18. Account Deletion

To delete your account in the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and complete the confirmation flow. Deletion disables your account on the service, ends your session so you are signed out, and prevents that account from being used to sign in again.

Certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or transaction integrity, and backup copies may take additional time to cycle out. See the Privacy Policy for details.

19. Intellectual Property

Kimii and its software, brand, design, text, graphics, and other service materials—excluding User Content—are owned by or licensed to the Kimii operator and are protected by applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Kimii for its intended purpose.

“Kimii” and the Kimii logo may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without permission.

20. Disclaimer

Kimii is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Features may change, pause, or become unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that every user or piece of content is authentic, or that AI output will be accurate.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded. You are responsible for evaluating your interactions, content choices, and reliance on information available through the service.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Kimii operator and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of Kimii.

Any aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Kimii during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot be limited.

22. Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect service changes, safety needs, legal requirements, or operational practices. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use Kimii after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms, where permitted by law.

1. Information You Provide

Kimii handles information you choose to provide when you create an account, build a profile, publish content, interact socially, use AI features, make a purchase, report a concern, or contact support.

Do not provide information you do not want associated with your account or shared according to the feature you are using.

2. Account Information

Account information may include your email address, account identifier, password-related authentication data, account status, and records needed to authenticate and secure your account. Passwords should be stored in protected form; Kimii does not need your email account password.

3. Profile Information

Your profile may include a display name, profile photo, bio, and other details you choose to show. Profile information is used to present your identity within Kimii and help other users understand who they are interacting with.

4. Photos and User Content

We handle photos, looks, challenge submissions, comments, and related content you choose to upload or create. Public or community-facing content may be visible to other users according to the feature’s design.

Content may be processed to display it, maintain the service, support challenge participation, respond to reports, and prevent misuse.

5. Social Activity

Kimii may handle follow and mutual-follow relationships, likes or reactions, comments, reports, blocks, and similar interactions. We use this information to provide social features, show relationship status, order relevant activity, enforce blocks, and support community safety.

Reports you submit are sent to the service together with your account identity and the content you identify, so they can be reviewed under the Community Guidelines.

6. Chat Data

In the current V1 implementation, chat messages and conversation previews are stored locally on your device. Chat is available for mutual connections. Private messages are not automatically submitted to AI features.

Local chat data may be affected by device storage, app removal, device changes, or local data clearing. If a future version uses service-based chat, this Policy will be updated to explain that processing before it applies.

7. AI Feature Data

You decide what information you submit to AI features. This may include selected style preferences, prompts, choices, or photos. Photos are processed for AI only when you actively select them for an AI feature.

AI service providers may process the information submitted to provide the requested AI feature. AI results and history are stored locally in the current V1 implementation. Avoid providing sensitive personal information in AI inputs.

8. Purchase Information

Apple processes payment credentials for purchases made through Apple In-App Purchase. Kimii does not receive your complete payment card number from Apple.

Kimii may receive or handle transaction identifiers, product information, purchase status, verification data, and related records required to validate a purchase and grant virtual Coins.

9. Technical Information

Kimii may handle basic technical information reasonably required to operate and secure the service, such as app version, device or platform type, language or region settings, network requests, timestamps, error information, and security or authentication events.

Kimii does not describe this as including precise location, address-book contacts, microphone recordings, camera recordings, or advertising tracking because those are not part of the current described V1 data scope.

10. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• create and secure accounts and maintain sessions;
• display profiles, looks, challenges, and social activity;
• provide follow, mutual-connection, chat, report, and block features;
• provide AI experiences you actively request;
• verify purchases and grant or spend virtual Coins;
• detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
• troubleshoot, maintain, and improve service operation; and
• comply with law and enforce our Terms.

11. Service Providers

We may use service providers for functions such as infrastructure, authentication support, email delivery, file handling, purchase verification, AI processing, security, and support. Providers may process information only for the relevant service function and subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

Apple handles App Store distribution, billing, and related purchase processing under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.

12. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide Kimii, maintain account and transaction integrity, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by information type and purpose.

Information stored locally remains on the device until removed through app controls, app data clearing, or app removal, subject to the behavior of the device platform and backups.

13. Account Deletion

To delete your account in the app, open Settings → Account → Delete Account and complete the confirmation flow. Deletion disables your account on the service, ends your session, and signs you out; the account can no longer be used to sign in, and the email address can be used to create a new account.

Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, purchase integrity, or compliance purposes. Data in backups may remain until normal backup rotation completes. Information stored locally on your device is removed with the in-app flow or when app data is cleared.

14. Safety and Abuse Prevention

Reports, blocks, account activity, content, and relevant technical records may be processed to investigate suspected violations, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain service integrity. Access is limited to what is reasonably needed for those purposes.

15. Children and the 18+ Community

Kimii is intended only for people who are 18 or older. Users confirm they are at least 18 when creating an account. Kimii is not directed to children or minors.

If you believe a person under 18 is using Kimii, please report the account through the app or contact support when the support address becomes available.

16. Your Choices

Depending on the feature, you may:

• choose the profile information, content, photos, and AI inputs you provide;
• follow or unfollow users and manage mutual connections;
• report or block accounts and later manage blocked users;
• remove certain content or local AI history through available controls;
• decline to use optional AI features; and
• initiate the in-app account deletion flow.

17. International Processing

Kimii and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use safeguards designed to protect information during international processing in accordance with applicable law.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy when Kimii’s features, data practices, legal requirements, or service providers change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.

1. Respect Others

Treat every member with respect. Kimii is built around style, creativity, and connection — engage with looks and people the way you would want to be engaged with. Disagreements about fashion are fine; attacks on people are not.

2. No Harassment

Do not harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or pressure anyone. Repeated unwanted contact, hostile comments, and any behavior intended to intimidate or degrade another member is not allowed.

3. No Hate

Do not post content or make statements that promote hatred, discrimination, or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

4. No Explicit Sexual Content

Kimii is an 18+ community focused on style, not explicit content. Do not post nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexually suggestive content involving anyone. Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, and any content involving minors are strictly prohibited and will be removed.

5. No Impersonation

Do not impersonate another person, brand, or public figure, or present someone else’s identity, photos, or content as your own. Represent yourself honestly in your profile and your looks.

6. No Spam

Do not spam, mass-send unsolicited messages, artificially inflate likes or engagement, or repeatedly post promotional or disruptive content. Automated access, fake accounts, and engagement manipulation are not allowed.

7. No Illegal Content

Do not use Kimii to offer, depict, or facilitate illegal activity of any kind, including content that infringes rights you do not hold. Content submitted to AI features must also be lawful and authorized.

8. Report and Block

If you encounter content or behavior that concerns you, use the in-app Report option on the profile, look, comment, or submission in question. Reports are reviewed by the Kimii team.

You can also Block an account at any time from their profile or the safety menu. Blocking takes effect immediately and stops further interaction between the accounts, including visibility of each other’s content. Reporting does not automatically block anyone — you decide.

9. Enforcement

We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts when these Guidelines or the Terms of Use are violated. Serious violations — such as content involving minors, sexual exploitation, or threats — may result in immediate removal without prior notice.

Enforcement decisions account for context and severity. If you believe a decision was wrong, contact the Support Center.
